| - Employee Duties |
| The Laboratory Director works with the Quality Assurance Officer and chemists to maintains the laboratory's certification. He conducts in house audits and inspections of the laboratory to make sure the books, controls and testing parameters are in order. He also generated Standard Operation Procedures for all laboratory tests. |
| The Quality Assurance Officer assures that all laboratory analysis conforms to NELAC, ELAP and Health Department standards. |
| The chemists analyze the quality of the water at each stage of the water treatment process, from raw lake water through the end product in our distribution system. The chemists also take consumer complaints, answer water quality question from the public, and prepare logs for various government agencies and the Water Board. |
